Hey everyone, it’s Lea here! Today I’m going
to be doing a review on my current ear pro I get a ton of questions about what
earpro I’m using and if I like it or not so I decided to do a quick review on
that. So currently I’m using the Walker’s Silencer. I really enjoy them a lot I’ve
been using them for about 3 months. You can get them online anywhere between $160
and $180, which is a great price range considering all the features that
it offers. They come with this carry case which is really convenient, you can just
throw it in your range bag and go, I really like it a lot. Inside there’s two
holders for each ear bud and then up here are the different sizes, there’s a
small medium and a large. I use the small sizes because my ears
are pretty small. So here’s the earbud and the batteries are not rechargeable,
you do have to change them out, they last about 80 hours. And how you change them
is the same way you would change the size as well, you just pop this part off
and then this comes out, and there’s a little door and you just
pop it open and there’s the battery. So that’s really convenient. After about
four hours they do start to hurt my ears a little bit, it might just be that I
need a smaller size, maybe an extra small size or a kid size (because I little ears)
might help, but all in all if it’s a vast improvement from ear muffs. I don’t know
about you guys, but ear muffs really hurt my ears they squeeze my head, they push
my glasses into my head and I can’t wear earmuffs for more than five minutes
without being miserable. So the way I put them in is I try to press this part down
as much as I can and make it as small as possible and then I usually pull my ear
back to kind of help get it in as much as possible and I take that little hook
on the top and I hook it into the top part of my ear and I would just wait a
second for it to expand. And you’ll know when there’s a good seal because you
won’t be able to hear anything, and then you can turn it on. So there’s two
buttons on it, one is the volume and one is the on/off. To turn it on you just
flip it up and then you can adjust the volume. The volume button is a little
small and it’s kind of hard to turn so if you’re turning it when you’re at the
range you just want to be careful because you might twist it out of your ear, which
is not fun if there’s a lot of gunfire going on.
You just have to be careful. Once you have it in right, it’s not going anywhere.
It’s in there you can you can move around and it’s not going to fall out,
there’s no wires or anything that are going to get in the way and I really
like that about these. As far as the on/off button goes, when it’s not in your
ear there’s no indicator on the outside of the earbud indicating that it’s on or
off and it can be pretty easy to leave it on. It’s not really a big problem
because if I did leave it on and I got to the range, I can always just swap it
out with a new battery very quickly. I found these batteries on Amazon I got 60 of them for $15 and I always keep them in the case that way I can
just swap it out and be on my way. There’s no wait time of recharging or
anything like that, so it’s really convenient. Another cool
feature this product offers is sound activated compression and what that
basically is is that any noise over 85 decibels, it gets reduced by 25 decibels,
so if you’re in the middle of a conversation with someone and there’s
loud gunfire in the background, it won’t completely block out all noise. It will
just reduce the sound by 25 decibels and that way you’re not going to miss out on
a conversation or have to ask that person to repeat themselves. Because, you
know, there’s a lot of shit-talking going on at the range and you need to be ready for
the comebacks… for sure. I want to quickly discuss my previous
earpro, which were the Walker’S Razor XV and these are them right here. They just
go over your shoulders and earbuds are on wires, and then you stick them in your
ear. I really like these but the wires kind of got in the way and this is a little
bit too bulky for me. One feature that I really enjoy about these is that it does
have Bluetooth compatibility, where I can pair it with my phone, and that way I can
listen to music. When I’m at a match I get really nervous before I go up to
shoot a stage and having music kind of helps reset and focus me on the stage
and that way I can kind of calm my nerves before going up in and shooting.
Even without the Bluetooth I’m still going to go with the Silencer. It’s a big
improvement over the Razor and I’m going to continue to use it. If you guys are in
the market for hearing protection, or if you want something new to try out or to
look at, definitely check this product out. I really enjoy it and I hope that
you guys do too! I hope you guys enjoyed the video, thanks for watching. If you liked it, please subscribe below and I hope everybody has a great day!
LEA AIM LOVE MISS
You are one badass chick.
Awesome review Leah, your review actually just sold a set. My Dad is slowly losing his hearing, to the point that he doesn't hear ducks quack, or deer moving behind him. These are going to be the ticket for him this hunting season. Thanks!
Not a fan of Ben Avery. There's another shooting range south of lake pleasant called cow town. Nice thing about them is you can have your own shooting area and they have spots up to 1000 yards. If not there head to payson.
@leaspeed6 Ah, the downfall of having elf ears. I was an aircraft mechanic for 14 years, and the company I worked for had some guys come in and custom form the ear buds to our ears. Flash forward 20+ years, and now I'm a firearms instructor for a police department. I still have, and still use, those same earbuds. They have a mechanical valve in them, so when the decibels get over about 75, the valve shuts off and protects your ears, but the nice thing is they are molded to fit your particular ears like a glove. Love all your vids, BTW. Stay safe, and Front Sight, Smooth Press.
@leaspeed6 I wish you would have been my nurse when I was going through acute rehab, I would have saved a lot of time building guns. Then again, I'd probably own a couple more lol. Best wishes in everything, it's awesome that you help people both medically and through your other job.
I really enjoy your videos, lots of good info. What firearm company are you a part of? I'm also n the firearm industry
I noticed the layout of the guns behind you if that's a gun safe can you tell me who makes it, it's a very nice setup. Thank you.
I Was Really Thinking about the Razors. Do you think they'd hold up to everyday use for the Blue tooth?
I could barely concentrate on what you were talking about.
How do the Walkers compare to the 3M Peltor TEP-100 amplified ear plugs were they protect to 30db and come in Charging carrying case, one charge lasts 9-12 hrs, recharge in 90 minutes, so no need to keep buy hearing aid batteries and cost about $260?
You are the single hottest girl in the world. And you know your shit. Props
Pretty girl
awesome just found you great reviews.
I have a set of these Silencers. I wish they were rechargeable. And I'm having trouble getting them to seal effectively. I've tried all three size buds. Still seem to let a lot of sound in.
Hi Lea, New sub here. I watched a few of your videos and enjoyed your humor and personality, among other things. Tell me, what do you think of Howard Leight ear bands? I've been using them for a while now and haven't seen many reviews on them. I know they are inexpensive, but they are so light compared to muffs…thoughts? I have to get back to watching more of your videos now. So long.
Your little furry , toothy friend is awesome. I need one or two.
Are these OSHA or WCB compliant?
She is isanely hot…
Those tits render me powerless.
Thanks for the review. Is there a difference in sound quality between the XV's and the silencers? I'm trying to decide which to go with? Thanks!
Sorry, I did not hear a word she said, i was concentrating on the white clothing line. Very fashionable.
Nice looking and i dont mean the gun either
Would love to see a tour of your gun room. Looks impressive!
Sorry I got distracted, so what kind of ear pro do you use?
I need to check out some of these Walker silencers
I love your guns woman. lol
Sorry but I couldn't keep you eyes from staring at your big, round beautiful blue eyes.
Good God!! You are adorable and a bad ass! I'm hooked 👍
Wow.., what a nice lookin video. What was she reviewing😲
I really enjoy your videos. Your a amazing woman. Need more like you.
What ear plugs would you suggest for indoor range without having to double up? Muffs give me headache after about 20 minutes having them on.
A little rammstein very nice
Nice review!
When is Vik gonna be in a video? Maybe someday I can come out and shoot with you, again!?
I was laughing when you said you had to be ready for the comebacks at the range
got damn I love your channel Lea! you are smart and very funny. oh and you are pretty too. can't leave that description out. I don't see very many videos but I'm going through them all chronologically. love 'em! especially the M&P lower and upper receiver whole rifle build. I'm eventually going to build my first ar 15 soon. keep them coming!
Que rica estas mami dan ganas dr meterte la verga
Niice Unicorn!
Need to turn the captions….
Blocking the full viewing.
She had me at hello…..she had me at hello…
Will this be suitable for an older dude to teach his younger dudette to shoot on the range?
I need to keep her ears intact but want her to hear me as well.
Any experience comparing these to the Peltor TEP-100?
You Look Like a Fun Size! 😂
Thanks for the the review
I have the Razor XVs and love them for exactly the reasons you state. They work well, and I love listening to my "shooting music" playlist. For most range days, it's great. But for competition, especially where I will have to go prone, climb obstacles or whatever, they simply will not do. I will have to try these out, or stick to some Surefire non-electronics or foamies.
Oh my god. If you got several tattoos I would fall in love. Sorry.
$180…..lol!
Reviews all say that the batteries last 3 weeks, even turned off. That seems highly inefficient.
pbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb
Just ordered myself a pair. Giving my current headphones to my nephew. So now we can talk and actually not have to scream at him. Lol. Thank you have a good day/night be safe
Am I they only one wanting to see the water ice bucket challenge???
Good video. Quality wise is pretty good, I happen to have the same work bench (Seville) from Amazon. I personally don't like this kind of ear protection due to they are cumbersome to install. I prefer the passive foam ear plugs who give whopping 33 NR, but to each their own. Thank you for posting this review.
This. Is. The. Perfect. Woman.
Where the hell did she get that evil tactical unicorn? that thing is awesome!!! I want one.
Thanks ! For all your Video , it help ~~~
I don't understand how ear buds can have better protection than muffs? Even with a NRR rating, There doesn't seem a lot of ability to stop the percussion compression from the in-ear buds… anyone have any answers to explain that?
Only -25 decibels? Are you sure that's enough protection? 140db-25db= 115db and 115 db will damage your hearing? Have your ears ringed after shooting with these on?
We all know why you clicked this video.
Great review.
I have to say if things ever do go Hot I would definitely want you on my side, impressive control of that AR.
Not to mention the Arsenal behind and apparently all around you.
Hey everyone it's boobies ( . Y . )
Shame on me for watching this.
Hi Lea! So you sell guns by representing the manufacturer. It is interesting to see you on YouTube. Yusuf Salam
Pretty nice but for 200 bucks you would think the batteries would at least be rechargeable
Lil ears, big…eyes😉
Hi how are you.
This ear protection is so great! Get it now on Amazon for a special price now! Get it here https://amzn.to/2oLMTpa
Do you live in a bunker? Just curious. Looks kinda bunkery. Pretty cool. That is all.

Nice video
Anyone know which gun Lea shoots first in this video, between 13-17 seconds in?
if anyone find a girlfriend like her, remember not to betray her.
I use the Razor XV behind the neck hearing pro. Works great.
I just received my walkers silencers and I’m impressed that they are so small. I’m taking them to the range today to shoot my M&P 5.56. Can’t wait.

Hi Lea, would you recommend these for indoor ranges where the sound is much higher?
Did you upgrade to the bluetooth version of the silencers?

Have you looked into the Bluetooth versions. If so what are your thoughts?
