Hi, Steve and Trevor here at the Boulder
range for media day at SHOT Show Shot Show opens tomorrow, today is media
day. We get to play with all kinds of different guns. – I’m really excited you know this is
a chance to see all the new manufactures, all that new stuff they’re bringing to the
table for this year, so I’m really pumped about it. -We’re ready! Here we are over at Benelli, taking a
look at some of the fine shotguns that they make. We’ve got a trap and skeet range set up in the background so we’re going to pull some shotguns out and see if we can hit some plates. Steve here at the Benelli both with the new
ethos. If you have read your gun magazines
you’ll see this plastered in a lot of different places a pretty exciting, pretty new, innovative shotgun something I
was looking forward to seeing this year. About six and three quarter pounds, kinda
reminds me of a Montefeltro. It’s slim, sexy, forend kind of a svelt gun,
very fast. -Hi guys, here at the redring booth right now, this is the first chance
I’ve got to see this sight, it is a red dot sight specifically designed for
shotguns. they’ll fit onto a shotgun rib and also a new picatinny mount coming
up this year. But guys let me tell you this makes hitting the clays extremely easy. -Here at glock, this a new glock model 41 and 42. The 41 is the same size as the 34 it’s a longer
slide. It is in 45 ACP, it takes the same 13 round magazine as the glock 21, but the model 42 is probably the most popular pistol at
shot show this year I I expect it to be one of the top five. This is the new 380 Glock, six round magazine. This is the first time I’m handling the gun. There’s plenty to hold onto, there’s no
finger grooves. It’s absolutely a toy, there’s nothing
to it, it feels good, it’s not sharp, it didn’t bite me. Very slick it’s gonna be a real winner, its
going to be very very popular gun. -Here we are at Bullseye camera systems. It’s the new innovative way to know exactly your shot placement while you’re at the range. You’re used to having to walk down to your target and have that spotting scope next to you. Well this does it all in one. The Bullseye camera system, you place your camera downrange. You have a laptop sitting at your desk. It is going to show you
your shots as they come in. I shoot, I press the spacebar, its going to show me the impact on the target. It’s also going to show my most recent impact
and it’s going to continue to show your most recent shot to help you get that
0 and get you really in the target.
-This is the savage BA, it stands for “bolt-action”. The BA in this case is chambered in 338 Lapua or
LA-POO-AHH, however you want to call it. We good here? We have some thousand yard targets out
there and Johns telling me to aim dead on so lets see what we got. Makes it too easy John. -Hey guys I can’t tell you how excited I
am to introduce this, this is the Trijicon V-COG sight, the long-awaited V-COG.
This is a 1-6 adjustment magnification, perfect for your close range shooting, to walking it out there. The reticle is in the first focal plane,
grows when you go up in magnification, was really a long-awaited sight. An excellent optic, I got to tickle the trigger a little bit with it.
I’m extremely happy with the quality. Trijicon products are built to last and and handle anything you can throw at them.
No doubt that the V-COG is going to live up to their name.
