So today we’re near Modena, in the Italian Apennines, guests of La Selva wildlife hunting company, in a territory very rich in wild boars, fallow deer and roe deer, to test in their shooting range the Sabatti STR .308 in some sessions of long range shooting and tonight if there’s time we’ll test it in the field with some male roe deer selective hunting. A day to be discovered together with us from all4hunters and with our very young guide. The company that hosts us here in the Modena area is quite frequented by fallow deer but tonight we’re only looking for roe deer. A real on-the-spot statement in the summer rain at the end of a hunting day at La Selva wildlife hunting company in the Modena area that ended with the shooting of this first-class roe deer, at the end of a afternoon dedicated to shooting sessions where we
tested the Sabatti STR rifle at various ranges As evening drew in this roe came out, we had the time to rangefind it and adjust the turret – a couple of MOA – we were sure of our tools and we shot. Many thanks to our mascot Andrea who followed us for all day – or rather, who guided us for all day and even accompanied us during this prodigious and adventurous recovery beyond a river almost in flood. We thank you for following us and keep doing it because our and your hunting season has just began!
