Road trip Namibia Goodmorning! It is almost 6:30 AM. That is supposedly very late here. We are going to have breakfast, and then we are going to explore Etosha National Park. See what wild life we can see. We have just gotten into Etosha and we have seen many dikdiks and now we are staring like crazy for every movement… Giraffe! Giraffe! Giraffe! We are probably going to see many more of them but for us it is still very special. mongoose We just quickly went to Namutoni Restcamp, because we had to pay the entrance fee here. We only wanted to go out of the car shortly, to decrease the tire pressure, and then we couldn’t help but walking to the water hole. We have seen mangoose and an entire herd of zebras. And it is already very hot. It is 8:30 AM and it is already too warm. We are on the road again and we have become poo watchers. We have already seen realy big piles. And that makes us very happy. So we are hoping for elephants. I think we have spotted the first elephant. In the distance I see kind of a grey spot. We can not get any closer. But we are going to stop and zoom in. elephant They were elphants, but to far away to get a good shot. We did see them flapping their ears. There was a parked car here, so that is very suspect here. Then everybody is going to search even more. So we are going to check it out aswell. We are at the huge salt pan of Etosha. We are the only ones here and it is just huge. Jackal eating zebra. We have arrive at Okaukuejo Rest Camp After about 6 hours in the car. We have seen great things. We are standing on top of the tower in our camp and right outside is an elephant. White Rhino @ Okaukuejo Rest Camp Back on the road to see what today will bring us. It is a little stormy so there is a lot of dust in the air and there is mainly a lot of open white space. We have spent some time at the water hole at our own camp. And we had brought something to read, just in case, but we have only been astounted especially by the elephants.
