Cheetahs – fast, agile, a king among predators.
Just look at how threatening and deadly they are. Yeah. Cheetahs. Okay, so these ones aren’t quite at that stage
yet. But what they lack in bloody-thirsty killing instincts, they make up for in well,
kind of fuzz-ball-i-ness. Yeah, they’re pretty cute aren’t they? The pair, both females, are being hand-raised
by staff at San Diego zoo as their mother can’t look after them. But that hasn’t stopped
them, they’re growing up fast. Every baby’s different but these cheetahs
really seem to be developing quickly in our eyes. They are great eaters. They started
playing when they were just three or four days old. Now, they can barely walk at that
time but it was, so it was pretty interesting seeing them tumbling around with each other. And being raised by people isn’t the only
strange thing these cubs have had to adapt to – once they’re old enough they’ll be trained
to be animal ambassadors at the zoo. And that means being paired with a domestic dog, which
will raise them to be more friendly and calm in crowded environments, as well as, well
just being a friend. That’s some way off though, the cubs are just
three weeks old right now and that means it all gets a bit too much for them, a bit too
quickly. They fall asleep pretty fast, that’s mostly
what they do.
